City of Travelers Rest, chamber to host small business symposium

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The city of Travelers Rest and the Greater Travelers Rest Chamber of Commerce will on Wed., March 22 host a small business symposium for area residents wishing to start or grow a business.

Scheduled speakers include Frank Anderson with the SBA, Mark Farris with the Greenville Area Development Corp., and Tee Coker, who will discuss current market conditions in Travelers Rest.

The symposium will also offer breakout sessions on financing your business and marketing and social media, according to organizers.

The event will be held at Green Valley Country Club.

Cost: $25 registration fee for non-Chamber members, $15 for Chamber members (includes breakfast, lunch, and materials).

Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants.

The event is sponsored by the city of Travelers Rest, the Greater Travelers Rest Chamber of Commerce and SCORE.
