This year's fundraising efforts included a fashion show featuring styles from High Country Style, Quirky Palette, and Talloni Shoe Salon as well as the annual CVLGA Golf Tournament, sponsored by Compass Rejuvenation.

The partnership has allowed Safe Harbor to further its prevention efforts in area middle and high schools and its intervention services for child witnesses of domestic violence, according to Safe Harbor officials.

"Thanks to Association's efforts, Safe Harbor has made great strides in our efforts to influence a culture where all people are safe and valued in their relationships," said Becky Callaham, executive director of Safe Harbor. "From our Child and Family Therapy Program to the Relationship Education Project, the CVLGA has had direct impact in providing interventions for children who have witnessed domestic abuse in their homes, as well as teaching teenagers in middle and high schools how to have healthy relationships. These efforts are vital in our community to help end the cycle of abuse in families, and make South Carolina a safer place to live."
