Registration open for Travelers Rest Lions Club Roy Reynolds Memorial Golf Tournament

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Travelers Rest Lions Club will hold its annual benefit golf tournament at Paris Mountain Country Club on Sat., Aug. 26.

Now in its fifth year, the tournament has been renamed to honor former Travelers Rest Mayor Roy Reynolds, who passed away earlier this year. Reynolds, a charter member and former president of the Travelers Rest Lions Club, was the fundraising event's organizer since its inception.

Registration is $75.00 per person and includes green fee, cart and lunch. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. (Registration information available here. Deadline: Aug. 19)

All proceeds from the tournament go to support area Lions Club projects.

The tournament will be played in captain’s choice format with 4-person teams. Play is set to begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin competitions.
