Ruby Hightower, 86 - Travelers Rest

After a brief illness, on February 3, 2017, Ruby Ernestine Hightower, 86, went to live with her heavenly Father in his house for all eternity.

Born in Franklin, NC on August 3, 1930, she was married to the late Jack Billy Hightower for 63 years. She was a beloved mother to her sons, James and Michael Hightower; grandsons, Tommy and Tony Hightower and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ruby was a lifelong housewife and lifelong Christian, active in her church at Tigerville Baptist Church and a patriotic American who loved her country and supported her Veterans, husband Jack in World War II and son, James in Vietnam War.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017 from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary with a chapel service following at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at Tigerville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
