Results: Devildog Track & Field at annual Chick-Fil-A games

TAYLORS, S.C. — Congratulations to Travelers Rest High School senior Will Barnett as he finished in third place in the 1600 at the annual Chick-Fil-A Games Saturday at Eastside High School. Barnett's time of 4:33.66 is believed to be the fastest time in school history. Freshman Olivia Huskey won the High Jump with a leap of 4-8. 

The boys finished in 18th place with 11.5 points, while the girls' teams finished in 12th place with 34 points. Congratulations to the following athletes for finishing in the Top eight of their respective events: Kelsey White-Kennedy (100 Hurdles), Christina Messier (High Jump), Makenna Johnson (Long Jump), Alivia Waynick (Shot Put), Bailey Banks (Discus), Sadie McKinney (Discus), John Ferrigno (400 Hurdles), Derrick Fields (High Jump), and the girls' 3200-Relay Team.

The Devildogs will be back in action Wednesday as they compete at Blue Ridge High School.
