The fire engulfed a detached garage at a residence located on the corner of Tubbs Mountain and Lindsey Lake Roads.

According to Chief Lee Kelly, the cause of the fire is not known at this time, due in part to the amount of various fuels that were in the garage.

The residents said that there were tools, two motorcycles, welding equipment, and family keepsakes in the garage, which was a total loss.

A wrecker that was parked next to the building was destroyed in the fire as well.

There were no reports of injuries.

The same property was the scene of a fatal wreck in September of 2011. In that incident, a vehicle left the roadway and ended up in a small pond on the property. (Read more here.)
