Bobby Lee Howard, 74 - Travelers Rest

Bobby Lee Howard, 74, of 750 Dividing Water Road, died July 10, 2012, at his home.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Robert A. and Bessie Mae Lindsey Howard, he was a former employee of LWT and Wunda Weave Carpets, and a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Sue Burns Howard of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Leon Graydon of Greer and Tammy and Mark Walker of Powdersville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Teresa Howard of Greer and Jerry and Sherri Howard of Travelers Rest; five sisters, Mae Powell of Travelers Rest, Hazel Pace of Landrum, Donna Heatherly of Tuxedo, NC, Pauline Pace of Travelers Rest and Dale Hudson of Marietta; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Cross Plains Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Danny Reid and Rev. Keith Kelly. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Wood Mortuary.
