Isaac Francis "Ike" Epps, 96, of Travelers Rest, husband of the late Juanita Jewell Epps, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Harvey C. and Fannie Timmons Epps. Mr. Epps was retired from the J.P. Stevens Slater Plant after 47 years; he was a member of the Ebenezer Masonic Lodge #101; Woodmen of the World and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Epps (Pat) and Grady Epps (Doris); a daughter, Carolyn Foster (Jimmy); a special friend, Carrie Singleton; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by 5 sisters, Ellie, Mot, Dot, Margie and Tessie and 2 brothers, Cedar and Richard and 1 granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shiloh Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at The Howze Mortuary.

The family will be at the home of his son Kenneth.
