Margie Ann Haselden Black, 72 - Greenville

Margie Ann (Haselden) Black, 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Manning and Myrtle Brown Haselden. She worked along with her husband Dennis for 40 years as owners of Black’s Electrical & Development in Greenville. She was a member of the Travelers Rest Garden Club and Travelers Rest Women’s Business Club and a member of Forestville Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Dennis Black; daughter: Angela Denise Black; son: Will Black and wife Angie R. Black; grandchildren: Haley and Katie Black; sister: Myrtle Lee Cooper and husband Wayne; brother: Ronnie Haselden and wife Annie Ray; sisters-in-law: Delores Haselden, Faye Haselden and Sylvia Haselden.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by brothers: Roger Haselden, Carroll “Shot” Haselden and Freddie Haselden.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral service will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Paris Mountain Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, State Park Rd.

The family will be at the home.
