Josey Macala Cox, 17 - Marietta

Josey Macala Cox, 17, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Joe William Cox, II, and Dana Leigh Teachey Terrell. Josey was a member of Lima Baptist Church. She had a heart for animals, loved to sing, and loved all of her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her parents are four sisters: Ashley Peeler (Will), Hannah Poteet, Alexa Teachey, and Aubrie Teachey; two brothers: Joe William Cox, III, and Michael Cantrell; paternal grandparents: Joe and Pat Cox; and maternal grandparents; Walter and Ayenda Terrell.

Josey was predeceased by one sister, Jada Michelle Terrell.

The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Cox Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. at Cox Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the home.
