Two men charged with recent ATM thefts

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Two men accused of stealing ATM machines from convenience stores in northern Greenville County are in custody, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said 47-year-old Donald Lynn Fleming, of Travelers Rest, was arrested on December 15 and is currently being held in the Greenville Detention Center.

The second suspect, identified as 35-year-old Daniel Earl Webb, of Greer, was arrested following a manhunt in Marietta on Thursday afternoon.

At around 12:30, deputies responded to the area of Spring Park Road off of Geer Highway to attempt to serve Webb with warrants in connection to the ATM thefts. Webb fled on foot, sparking a manhunt involving air, ground and K-9 units.

Webb was located around 4:30 p.m. in the woods near the intersection of Hannon and Hart Cut roads and was taken into custody without incident.

According to warrants:

• Donald Fleming is charged with two counts each of burglary/safecracking, 2nd-degree burglary, grand larceny and criminal conspiracy. He was also charged with malicious damage.

• Daniel Webb is charged with two counts of burglary/safecracking, three counts of 2nd-degree burglary, three counts of grand larceny, three counts of criminal conspiracy and two counts of malicious damage.
