John Franklin Rice, 81 - Travelers Rest

John Franklin Rice, 81, widower of Bobbie Talent Rice, formerly of Powdersville, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Judson and Mae Batson Rice.

Surviving are one daughter: Crystal Price; one brother: Earl Rice (Betty Jo) one granddaughter: Kayla Price; one great-granddaughter: Lorelai Rice; and a special friend, Evelyn Hooper.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Capital Campaign Fund C/O Reedy River Baptist Church, 871 North Hwy 25 Bypass, Greenville, SC 29617.
