Edna Faye Singleton Poole, 88 - Travelers Rest

Edna Faye Singleton Poole, 88, formerly of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Carlos Alton Poole, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Countryside Village in Easley, SC.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Hovey and Edna Foster Singleton. Mrs. Poole was retired from the J.P. Stevens Slater Plant and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Surviving is her son, Tony A. Poole and his wife Mary; two grandsons, Travis and Rusty Poole; a sister, Dean Farmer and 2 brothers, H.B. “Buck” Singleton (Almeda) and Dave Singleton (Alice).

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by, 2 brothers, John & Ed Singleton and 3 sisters, Katherine Friddle, Helen Raines and Eloise Bryant.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the mortuary.

A graveside service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home.
