William Thomas Garrett, 49, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at his home, after a brief illness.
Born in Greer, he was a son of the late William Thomas Garrett and Mary Frances Duncan Bush. He and his family attended Cross Plains Baptist Church.
William was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by all. He loved to deer hunt with his son and close friends, as well as spending time with his wife, family, and friends. His wife, son, and daughter were his heart.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Garrett; one son: Shane Garrett (Jennifer); one daughter: Ashleigh Garrett; two brothers: Mark Garrett, and Joseph Garrett; one sister: Tammy Brown; one granddaughter: Cassie Howles; many loving nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Cross Plains Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Church.
Pallbearers serving with honor will be: Jeffrey Arrowood, Derrick Arrowood, Kevin Wright, Matt Arrowood, Ian Lynch, and Keith Brown.
