Joyce Ann Mullinax Bridwell, 66 - Travelers Rest

Joyce Ann (Midget) Mullinax Bridwell, 66, of Travelers Rest, wife of Robert E. Bridwell, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

Born in Greenville SC, she was a daughter of the late Haskell and Callie Mae Green Mullinax. Mrs. Bridwell was retired after 30 years from W.R. Grace and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Tina (Anthony) Waddell Suther; a daughter-in-law, Tracy Lagana Bridwell; three grandchildren, Corey Waddell, Savannah Bridwell and Kyle Bridwell; a sister, Glenda (Don) Atkins; two brothers, James(Shirley) Mullinax and Joe (Elizabeth) Mullinax; her loving dog “Baby” and many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving son, Robert “Little Buddy” Dale Bridwell and two sisters, Barbara Jean Robertson and Mildred Louise Aleksiejczyk.

Funeral services will be held at 1o’clock Saturday afternoon in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1PM Saturday afternoon at the Mortuary prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.

The family would like to say a Special Thank You to Hope Health & Rehab in Marietta, Heartland Rehabilitation and McCall Hospice House (Open Arms Hospice) for the special care they gave to Mrs. Bridwell.
