Lillian B. Hyder, 88 - Travelers Rest

Lillian B. Hyder, 88, of Travelers Rest, widow of Rupert Hyder, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

Born in Marietta, she was a daughter of the late Clifton Morgan and Sadie Hodgens.

Lillian was of the Pentecostal faith.

Surviving, are two children, Carol Greene and Deborah Bennett; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Hodgens and Mary Hodgens Simpson; and five brothers, Roy Hodgens. Haskell Hodgens, Ralph Hodgens, Charles Hodgens, and Jack Hodgens.

The visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC.

The family will be at the home of Deborah Bennett.
