Ollie Mae Newman, 83 - Slater

Ollie Mae (Hall) Newman, 83, wife of the late, Clarence Newman, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late L.H. Hall Sr. and Elizabeth Ligon Hall. She retired from JP Stevens – Slater Plant after 40 years of service and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are her sons: Estel (Sandy) Allison and Steven Allison; 2 grandchildren: Tammy (Clint) Bass and David (Julie) Allison, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Ollie was predeceased by a brother, L.H. Hall, Jr. and the father of her sons, J.D. Allison.

In keeping with Ollie’s wishes, services will be private.
