Community Easter egg hunt along Main Street in Travelers Rest through April 5

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Travelers Rest United Methodist church is hosting a community Easter egg hunt along Main Street in Travelers Rest from now through April 5.

Here's how it works:

• Pick up a brochure (aka "trail card") at TRUMC or any of the participating businesses listed below.

• Find the eggs at the businesses/church location and write the name of the clue in each egg on the trail card next to the name of the business.

• Once completed, turn your card in at Shortfields for a free treat. (Note: Make sure you fill out the back of the trail card to be entered to win prizes from various Travelers Rest businesses.

The Easter egg hunt is designed for kids of all ages, according to organizers.

Prizes include a gift card and coffee mug from Tandem, a purse and Jewelry set from Silver Lily, Youth size Swamp Rabbit Trail t-shirts from Goose Feathers, gift cards from Prowse, Williams Hardware, Sidewall, TRs Oriental, and Down Home Dessert, and special prizes from The Whistle Stop and Sunflower.
