Photos: Firefighters rescue hang glider from tree atop Glassy Mountain
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. – Glassy Mountain firefighters and members of the Greenville County Emergency Team rescued a hang glider who crashed into a tree atop Glassy Mountain in the Cliffs of Glassy on Sunday.
According to Jarrod Parker, public information officer with the Glassy Mountain Fire Dept., the incident was reported around 2:45 p.m. Emergency workers were able to get the man out of the tree around 5:30 p.m.

The man was uninjured.
