Editor's pick: Greenville's iMAGINE Upstate Festival offers free, family-friendly fun
GREENVILLE, S.C. – A free, family-friendly festival set for Saturday, April 4 in downtown Greenville is your all access pass to a day filled with battling robots, drones, race cars, hovercrafts, electric vehicles, virtual reality games, 3D printing and more.
The city will come alive with interactive shows, demonstrations, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) lessons from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the inaugural iMAGINE Upstate Festival.
Main Street will be lined with tents showcasing the latest and greatest technology, and stages (at various locations throughout the city) will feature robotics demos and live battles, chemical reactions and explosions, live game shows (where you can with tech prizes), a futuristic fashion show, hovercrafts, and more.
“We are using this event to ignite industry leaders to inspire the workforce of tomorrow,” said event coordinator and iMagine Upstate Executive Director Ryan Heafy. “There will be no shortage of incredible experiences to inspire students of all ages.”
