TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The third in a series of walls inspired by the nationwide "Before I Die" project was unveiled at Heritage Elementary School in Travelers Rest on Saturday.
The "Before I grow old..." wall is part of a concept that's designed to use a unique phrase to encourage discussions regarding dreams and hopes. The unveiling was part of the school's 20th anniversary celebration.
Spearheaded by Let's Keep TR Beautiful, a total of five walls will be (or have been) installed at different places throughout 2015, each with their own phrase to be completed by participants.
The other walls include Travelers Rest High School's "Before I turn 25" wall (completed), Northwest Middle School's "Before I finish high school" wall (completed), and two community walls (coming soon): "Because I love TR, I hope" and the signature "Before I Die" wall.
Visit the Travelers Rest "Before I Die" wall project website here or follow them on Facebook here for more information, pictures, and news.
The "Before I Die" wall project was made possible through a Ten at the Top Elevate Upstate grant.
