Honey & the Hot Rods to bring rockabilly sound to Trailblazer Park Saturday

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Trailblazer Park's 2015 Music in the Park series continues on Saturday, May 9 with the rockabilly sound of Honey and the Hot Rods.

Combining elements of old-school rock and country, the band — comprised of pin-up singer Honey and three greaser musicians: LA, Rev and Lucky — form a subculture that brings back the fashions, attitude and music of the 1950s.

The concert is free, as are all concerts in the Trailblazer Park Music in the Park series. Food vendors and the craft beer stand open at 6 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. and usually runs until around 10 p.m.

Trailblazer Park is located at 235 Wilhelm Winter St., accessible by Highways 25 and 276 as well as the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail.
