Updated: 24-year-old motorcyclist killed in northern Greenville County wreck

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – A 24-year-old Greenville man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle wreck Wednesday evening, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office.

The wreck happened around 8 p.m. on Old Hwy. 25 at the intersection of Beaver Dam Rd. in northern Greenville County.

According to Coroner Parks Evans, Westin Evan Keeler was reportedly traveling south on Old Hwy. 25 when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected.

EMS crews initiated transport to Greenville Memorial Hospital, but Keeler died while enroute, according to Evans.

Keeler was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck, Evans said.

The S.C. Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner's Office are investigating.
