John Andrews, 66 - Travelers Rest

John “Buster” Wilton Andrews, 66, of Travelers Rest, husband of Sharon Grant Andrews, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late John Hicks and Willie Mae Smith Andrews.

Buster retired from Boy Scouts of America after 30 years, and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of 20 years, are children, Mark Andrews (Tina), Sonya McMillan (Scott), and James Stepp, III; five grandchildren, Daniel, Kayla, Raegan, Ethan, and Cooper; two sisters, Elizabeth Bailey and Frances Burch (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with the memorial service following at 3:00 p.m. in the Northwest chapel.

The family will be at the residence.
