Pictured: Cancer Society ladies golf event raises more than $40K

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Cancer Society of Greenville County held their 16th annual Ladies Golf Benefit on June 1 at the Furman University golf course. Over the past 15 years this tournament has raised over a quarter of a million dollars. This year, the ladies golf committee broke a record and raised more than $41,000.

All of the money that was raised will stay in the local community, according to Cancer Society officials.

The event was presented by Greenville Health System Cancer Institute.
