Charles Alton Cantrell of Travelers Rest, husband of Gayle Smith Cantrell, died Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Born in Pumpkintown, he was a son of the late William Lloyd and Inez Hawkins Cantrell.
Alton served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Dacusville Church of God Prophecy.
In addition to his loving wife of 48 years, he is survived by two daughters, Lynne Cantrell and Deborah Sepulveda (Diego); one very special grandson, JonPaul Sepulveda; and two brothers, David and Neal Cantrell.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Cantrell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the burial to follow in Coleman Memorial Park.
