Updated: Travelers Rest man killed in motorcycle crash

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A 61-year-old Travelers Rest man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Geer Hwy. Sunday night.

Greenville County Coroner B. Parks Evans said James Rickey Cisson was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson around 10:30 p.m. when he left the roadway near Tugaloo Road, striking a mailbox and a utility pole.

Evans said Cisson was pronounced dead on the scene.

The case is under investigation by the coroner's office and the S.C. Highway Patrol.
