Claude 'Alvin' Bailey, 64 - Marietta

Claude “Alvin” Bailey, 64, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015.

Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Garvin G. and Mary Frances Myers Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a Residential Builder and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Kathy Lindsey Bailey; two daughters: Ashley Metcalf (Marc) and Alexandra Bailey; two brothers: Clyde Bailey (Rebecca) and Harold Johnson (Rhonna); two sisters: Nancy Gilbert and Delores Kepner (Tom).

In addition to his parents, Alvin was predeceased by two sisters: Sue Myers and Juanita Reed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon with a chapel service to follow at 3:30 p.m. all at The Howze Mortaury.
