Greenbrier Farms' Porch Series offers farm-fresh food, music & more

EASLEY, S.C. — On Wednesdays this fall take the family over to Greenbrier Farms, a 300-acre sustainable farm near Dacusville for their Porch Series, which runs September through November. The event was such a hit in June that they decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall evenings and have a second round.

Adults and children alike can enjoy farm fresh food, live music, games, and more. The farm snacks will feature produce harvested that week and pastured meat. And if that's not enough, you can enjoy a stroll by the pond and through the gardens.

“It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day, take in the farm's beauty, catch up with friends and see where your food is coming from,” says Amy Bishop, manager of the farm.

The series starts this week and will feature bluegrass music by the West End String Band.

The fun lasts from 5 - 8 p.m. Admission is $10 per person, and children under five get in free. Beer and wine will be available, but not included in entry. You can also do some shopping while at the farm. Pets should be left at home.
