Business Beat: Greenville-based juicery opens Travelers Rest location
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Carl Sobocinski's popular restaurant group, Table 301, makes its move to Furman University, opening their first venue outside of downtown Greenville.
Last week the group opened it's second location of Southern Pressed Juicery in the Trone Center by the lake. The Juicery will serve many of the same customer favorites available in the downtown location, including seven flavors of cold-pressed juices, four smoothie options, and raw salads and snacks. Energy Bowls will join the menu in the next couple of weeks.
The move to Furman was largely driven by co-founder Olivia Esquivel, a Furman graduate.
"Many of the community members have had a chance to get to know us through our involvement at the Travelers Rest Farmers Market on Saturdays," she said. "And now we are so thrilled to be just a couple of steps off of the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail and to be part of the extraordinary culinary growth happening in Travelers Rest."
Southern Pressed Juicery is open to the public Monday though Friday, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. It is located in the Pala Den Food Court, on the bottom floor of the Trone Center.
