Accident reconstruction team called to State Park Road motorcycle wreck

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — A Greenville County Sheriff's Office accident reconstruction team was called to the scene of a wreck involving a motorcycle on Friday afternoon in Travelers Rest.

The wreck happened around 2:20 on State Park Road near the intersection of Hwy. 25.

According to Travelers Rest Police Chief Lance Crowe, the two lanes of State Park Road in front of Rite-Aid between Benton Road and Hwy. 25 will be closed for an indefinite period of time.

The motorcycle operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance. His condition is unknown at this time.
