Kindermusic studio opens on Main Street in Travelers Rest

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — One of the newest business in Travelers Rest — The Music Room: Kindermusic with Liz, located on Main Street adjacent to the Cafe at Williams Hardware — caters to a different crowd: kids.

Liz Jackson, the owner, recently moved to town from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“I've been running my own Kindermusik program there for the past 13 years and now that I have little ones of my own we decided to move back home and be close to family," she said.

Kindermusik is a program designed around music and movement to promote brain development in children, preparing them for future learning experiences. Classes are available for newborns to seven years old.
