Maude Syles Nix, 102, widow of the late Roy Styles, and Clyde Nix, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at her home.
Born in Robbinsville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Bertie Ayers Hice. Mrs. Nix owned Town House Restaurant for thirty years, and was a member of Enoree Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over sixty years.
Surviving are three daughters: Sarah S. Huff (Carroll), Shirley S. McKeown (Marion Ross), and Dorothy S. Lou Ward (David); one son: Lee Roy Styles (Carrie); ten grandchildren: Gerry Griggs, Steven Griggs, Eddie Griggs, Scott Griggs, Bess McCall, David McKeown, Libby Rickerds, Michael McKeown, Charlotte Walters, and Bo Cantrell; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery.
