Thomas Westcott Limehouse, 69 - Travelers Rest

Thomas "Tom" Westcott Limehouse, age 69, of Travelers Rest, died suddenly on December 1 of natural causes.

A member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Greenville, Tom enjoyed singing in the church choir and with the Greenville Chorale. Tom was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, where he lived for most of his adult life. An accomplished baritone vocalist and actor, Tom brought his considerable artistic talent to amateur and professional stages and churches throughout South Carolina, especially the Lowcountry.

Tom was perhaps best known for rarely, if ever, meeting a stranger.

Tom is survived by two sons, James Benjamin Limehouse of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Matthew Thomas Limehouse of Shelby, North Carolina, a sister, Anita Limehouse Goddard, and husband Davis Goddard of Westhampton, Massachusetts, a sister-in-law, Mary Limehouse, of Myrtle Beach, and a number of nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the family in January.
