Business Beat: Holistic health practice opens in Travelers Rest

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — Christina LeBoeuf grew up in a small town in New York near the Canadian border. While visiting a high school friend who relocated to the Greenville area, she fell in love with northern Greenville County.

Shortly after her visit, she moved to the Berea area but was spending all of her time in Travelers Rest, so she moved her home and business to the city because she enjoyed the sense of community.

Christina is a licensed acupuncturist and the owner of Carolina Holistic Health located at 106 N. Poinsett Highway.

After pursuing a bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Christina said she “wanted a profession that made a difference” and spent eight years studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to acupuncture, Christina practices lymphatic drainage, herbalism, thermography (an alternative to radiation treatments), cupping, and more.

According to Christina, she wants her patients to get the “most care out of one stop,” and technology is incorporated into the services when possible to expand offerings. Infrared sauna sessions are also available.

Visit the Carolina Holistic Health website and/or Facebook page for more information about services, hours, and appointments.
