Dean Price Jones, 77 - Travelers Rest

Dean Price Jones, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Greenville Health System.

Born in Cherokee County, SC, on July 6, 1938, he was the son of the late Reuben Howard and Wilma Proctor Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of Forestville Baptist Church and was retired from Wal-Mart transportation.

urviving are his wife of 60 years, Annette Moss Jones; a son, Christopher Dean Jones and his wife Rita Holcombe; a brother, Harry Eugene Jones; and two sisters, Peggy Ann Hamrick and Sybil Carlotta Nelson.

Mr. Jones was also predeceased by two sisters, Molly Foster and Evelyn Williams and a brother, James Herbert Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Forestville Baptist Church, with receiving of friends prior from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the home.
