Lineup announced for 2016 Music in the Park series in Travelers Rest

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The lineup for the 2016 Music in the Park series at Travelers Rest's Trailblazer Park has been announced.

The series kicks off Saturday, May 7 with country band Outshyne.

The concerts in the series are free. Food vendors and the craft beer stand open at 6 p.m. The music starts at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Trailblazer Park is located at 235 Wilhelm Winter St., accessible by Highways 25 and 276 as well as the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail. No pets, coolers or smoking are allowed at Trailblazer Park events.

May 14 — Benton Blount (America's Got Talent finalist)

May 21 — Shag Doctorz (Beach Music)

May 28 — Retro Vertigo (Hits from the 80s)

June 4 — Dirt Poor (Rock & Roll)

June 11 — The LOZ Band (Funk, reggae, jam)

June 18 — Angela Easterling/David Craig (Singer-songwriter)

June 25 — Gene Styles (Elvis impersonator)

Sept. 10 — End of Summer Blues with Tinsley Ellis and Marvin King & the Blues Revival (Details TBA)
