Sean Patrick McBride, 33 - Greenville

On October 30th, 1982, Sean Patrick McBride took his first breath as he entered this world in Greenville, SC to Patricia Burroughs and Troy Roger McBride.

Born their second son, he was a vibrant, active young man with a sweet and tender spirit. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Sean attended Greenvile High School where he was an active member with the NJROTC and made Eagle Scout with Troop 282. Sean had been working for the City of Greenville for the past year.

Even through all of his ups and downs, Sean recently accepted Christ into his heart and became a part of the Travelers Rest United Methodist family in Travelers Rest, SC where he began to find a new meaning in life and a more fulfilling life.

On February 5th, 2016, at around 7:40 p.m., Sean earned his wings and went to be with his Lord and Savior, passing peacefully with his family around him. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend to many. His smile, laugh, goofy personality, and tender heart will be missed in ways unimaginable on this earth.

Sean’s memory and life will always be honored and remembered through his father Troy Roger McBride, his mother and step-father Patricia and Lynn Burroughs, his brothers Troy Richard and Ryan McBride, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation and the Celebration of Sean’s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at Travelers Rest United Methodist church with Visitation beginning at 1:00pm followed by the service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will be receiving other family members and friends at 59 Long Forest Drive, Greenville, SC 29617.
