Vicky Murphy Mullinax, 52 - Travelers Rest

Vicky Murphy Mullinax left us too soon on March 8, 2016 at the tender age of 52.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Frank and Judy Murphy. She was also a daughter of the One True King Jesus Christ, and she loved the Lord and loved people well. Vicky lived vibrantly, she was a personality that was bigger than life and you always knew she was in the room. Vicky was full of joy, laughter, and love.

Vicky was currently employed by Furman University at Timmons Arena. She loved her Paladins, Clemson football, and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan.

Along with her parents she is survived by her husband: Jimmy Mullinax; sisters and brothers-in-love: Cindy Orr(Shane), Karen Masschelin(Paul); maternal grandmother: Irene Wickliffe; sisters-in-love: Judy Moore, Debbie Mullinax; brother-in-love: Johnny Mullinax; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved Vicky dearly.

She was predeceased by grandfathers: Paul C. Wickliffe, Sr., Clifford Murphy; and paternal grandmother: Faye Couch Murphy.

The family will receive friends Friday morning from 11 am until 12:30 pm at Locust Hill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 1 pm at Locust Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
