Ruby Hudson, 85 - Travelers Rest

Ruby Kathleen Hudson, 85, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Wendell Hudson, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was a life-time member of Pleasant View Welcome Baptist Church. She retired from JPS Slater Plant where she worked 37 years.

She is survived by three of eleven siblings; Farris Jones, Lula Hudson and Sula Tilley; her sons, Hoyt and Marshall Hudson; grandchildren, Karen Simpson and husband Kendall, Kevin Hudson and wife Jennifer, Karla Smith and husband Luke; great-grandchildren, Cameron Simpson, Katie Powell and husband Lee, Jacob Hudson and Abby Carlton.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 pm until 2 pm at The Howze Mortuary. A grave side service will be Friday at 2:30 pm at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family is at their respective homes.
