Finnamore awarded NGU scholarship

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Jasmine Finnamore, a home-schooled senior from Travelers Rest, has been awarded the Foothills Scholarship by North Greenville University. She was chosen to receive the scholarship on the basis of her academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.

Finnamore interviewed and competed for the scholarship during Scholarship Interview Day at North Greenville University on February 26.With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee $48,000 over the course of four years of attendance at North Greenville University.

Finnamore has been accepted into the Class of 2020 and plans to enroll in August. She is the daughter of Curt and Jan Finnamore of Travelers Rest.
