TRAVELERS REST, S.C. — The Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail has been nominated for induction into the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's Rail-Trail Hall of Fame, the winner of which will be determined via online voting in June.

The other nominees include Banks-Vernonia State Trail (Oregon), Hudson Valley Trail Network (New York), Rio Grande Trail (Colorado), and Shelby Farms Greenline (Tennessee).

Inductees are selected on merits such as scenic value, high use, trail and trailside amenities, historical significance, excellence in management and maintenance of facility, community connections and geographic distribution.
