Mary Nell Cruell, 67 - Travelers Rest

Mary Nell Cruell, 67, of Travelers Rest, passed away Wednesday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Janie Mae Thompson Cruell and the late Jesse Cruell. She had worked as a nursing assistant at the former Stroud Nursing Home in Marietta, and was retired as a custodian from Heritage Elementary School. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons: Keith Cruell, Tony Cruell (Casie); grandchildren: Brianna Cruell, Isaiah Cruell; sisters: Estella Cruell, Gloria Cruell, Linda Gordon, Grace Neely; brothers: Charlie Foster, Jessie Cruell, Larry Cruell (Pat), Emmanuel Cruell, Calvin Cruell, Maurice Cruell, Jackie Cruell, Angelo Cruell; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her father she was predeceased by a brother Russell Cruell and a sister, Natalie Cruell.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00am until 1:00pm at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00pm in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will be at her home.
