Timothy Eugene Sprouse, 52 - Marietta

Timothy Eugene Sprouse, 52, passed away in his home in Marietta, SC on Saturday, July 23 after a brief illness. Tim’s battle with cancer ended painless and peaceful. He rests now. He passed with dignity and grace. He is now present with the Lord and family members that had gone on before him.

Born in Greenville, he was the youngest son of the late Butler Lee and Thelma Madgelene Stamey Sprouse, and son-in-law of the late Doug and Annette Hammond. Tim was a cabinet builder by trade and local business owner. He was a musician, singer, and song writer who spent many days celebrating life through music. Tim had many talents and was passionate about his family and loved ones. He was “Uncle Tim, “Big Boy”, “Credible Hulk”, “Daddy” and “Papa” as well as “friend” to all who knew him. He spent his life striving to do the right thing and helping others. He sacrificed much of himself for the love he had for his family and friends. He will be missed but remembered always for his strength and determination. He was a good man.

“Tim” is survived by his wife Mary Angela Sprouse; one son: Timothy Russell Sprouse (Stephanie); one daughter: Tabitha Hope Moody (Matthew); five grandchildren: Cameron, Madison, Peyton, Dawson and Willow; three brothers: Joe, Frank and Will Sprouse; and three sisters: Vonnie Burns, Dolly Aiken, and Becky Cisson.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Deana Davis, who passed at an early age.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at The Howze Mortuary.
