Don Forrest, 75 - Marietta

Perry Donald “Don” Forrest, Jr., 75, of Marietta passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Perry Donald Forrest, Sr. and the late Polly Painter Forrest Crisp. Mr. Forrest was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, he was retired after 28 years from the Greenville Water Works; he was Co-Owner of the F-Mart in Cleveland and a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Margie “Bug” Bayne Forrest and a sister, Jane Roberts.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Bedford Forrest.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1 PM at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.
