Slater Hall Citizens' Committee to hold auditions for haunted house, Christmas play

SLATER-MARIETTA, S.C. — Slater Hall Citizens' Committee will be holding auditions for its upcoming haunted house and Christmas play. The committee is seeking individuals to perform and serve on the production crews.

SLAYter HALL 2016: Slater Hall's annual haunted house returns for its third year. This year's haunted house will run from October 27 through 31, Closed Sunday, October 30.  Rehearsals and maze construction will be held from October 21 through 26. Auditions will be held On Friday, September 30, at 7pm.

CHRISTMAS IN CRICKET COUNTY: The commitee's first theatrical production will be a one act comedy. The plot: For the city cousins, it's about the money. For the country cousins it's about family. In this comedic clash of city and country values, the audience will leave knowing the true meaning of Christmas. Seeking five females and four males of any age.  Performances will be held on December 2, 3, and 4. Rehearsals will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting October 17. No rehearsals during SLAYter Hall and Thanksgiving. Auditions will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 7pm. Potential cast members should be prepared to read from the script, and have a comedic story or monologue. (In the event that you are unable to attend the auditions, but would still like to participate, video auditions will be accepted.)
