Glassy Mountain FD dedicates new engine
LANDRUM, S.C. — The Glassy Mountain Fire Dept. dedicated a new engine at Thursday's community meeting.
A 2016 Pierce Saber fire engine, the truck's capabilities include a 1250 GMP pump and a 1,000 gallon water tank with a compressed air foam system.
"This new engine will allow us to better serve our communities for many years to come, and we believe it will greatly enhance our ability to combat fires and reduce property damage," said Glassy Mountain Chief Bob Staples.
