Margaret Carolyn Laws, 79 - Travelers Rest

Margaret Carolyn Laws, 79, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late, Warren Cauley Laws, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home.

Born in Lenoir, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Carroll and Margaret Keller Coffey. Mrs. Laws was retired from the Milliken Gayley Plant and she was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are her eight children, Annette Benton Gary), Warren Laws (Judy), Vivian Laws, Joe Laws (Ann), Mike Laws (Dana), Teresa Johnson (Mike Pelkey), PeeWee Center (Tony) and Tony Laws (Amy); a sister, Iris Caldwell; 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning in The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Monday evening at the mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
