Wanda Burns, 58 - Travelers Rest

Wanda Stroud Burns, 58, of Travelers Rest went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Lillie Margaret Southerlin Stroud. Mrs. Burns was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a member of Clearview Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Roy David Burns; two children, Justin David Burns and his wife Stephanie and Kristin Alexander and her husband Dale; five grandchildren, Peyton and Tanner Burns and Hunter, Tyler and Kaitlin Alexander and 3 brothers, Byron, Herman and Joe Stroud.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at Clearview Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Thursday evening at The Howze Mortuary.
