Maxine Nabors, 95 - Greenville
Maxine B. Coleman Nabors passed away on November 25, 2016 after an extended illness.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Carl C. and Ollie Hawkins Bishop. Maxine was retired from Stone Manufacturing as Assistant Designer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Travelers Rest and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Betty Coleman and daughter: Joyce C. Scruggs all of Travelers Rest, SC; brother: Norwood Bishop of Charleston, SC; grandsons: Scott Tate, Eric Coleman, Kevin Coleman, Keith Coleman, Jody Coleman and Travis Coleman; granddaughter: Melissa T. Moody; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Along with her parents, Maxine was predeceased by her first husband, Curtis L. Coleman and her second husband, Bluford Nabors; sons: Wayne and Kenneth Coleman; daughter-in-law: Kathy Coleman and son-in-law: Seth Scruggs.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Coleman Memorial Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her daughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 20 McElhaney Rd., Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
